Arg740 and Glu722 are highly conserved and are present in other species at equivalent positions or 3 4 residues apart positioning them on the same side of the helices in the bundle.
The legs-apart position derives from martial arts.
The other couples had deftly caught on to the oddly triangular chests-together, feet-apart position.
Apart from position 171, which is replaced by S in SmPrxII of both haplotypes, all positions are conserved in the analyzed species (Fig. 9A).
