The resulted combinations were further observed visually for any turbidity or phase separation.
On the other hand, boiling BSA for 10 or 30 minutes did not appear to create any turbidity increase, as evidenced by the turbidity measurements collected on the first day following inoculation (Fig. 7A).
The control experiment where, 1% Triton X-100 alone was ultracentrifuged in sucrose gradient did not show any turbidity through all the tube (not shown).
