Randomised trials are our best way to find out if something works: by randomly assigning participants to one intervention or another, and measuring the outcome we're interested in, we exclude all alternative explanations for any difference between the two groups.
There is no reliable evidence to suggest that the rate of consolidation or occurrence of complication is any difference between the two groups.
The other symptoms which we investigated, i.e., depressed mood, insomnia, hypersomnia, agitation, retardation, apathy, loss of energy, guilty feeling, low self-esteem, suicidal ideation, indecisiveness, delusion, and hallucination did not show any difference between the two groups.
