"I've had death threats and criticism that I support gays – because I have a clear anti-discrimination position – and there have been claims that it is haram [forbidden in Islam] to vote for women.
State Senate Majority Leader Ralph Okerlund told the Deseret News, a Utah paper owned by a subsidiary of a Mormon Church holding company, that some legislators had been waiting to hear the church's position on the anti-discrimination bill.

In Tables 3 and 5, this proportion was generally lower (even 50% with t = 300, Table 5) and the power obtained with both methods was always around 1. However the MSEs were still better with HAPim, which indicates that this method also allows a better discrimination between positions.
Position 1 closest to the intersection and the reward has the strongest impact on discrimination and generalization, position 2 provides close to equal salience as position 1, position 3 has a lower salience than position 2, and position 4 contributes only weakly or not at all to discrimination and generalization.
It is therefore surprising that in our study the position discrimination slopes for positive BOLD activity in later visual areas are almost as high as the slope for V1 (Fig. 7C).
