There was also a significant association between apathy and the inferior fronto-occipital fasciculus, both at its anterior termination in the frontal operculum, but also more posteriorly (Fig. 3).
In addition, there is no reason to consider the foramina of the carotid circulation system to be stable landmarks that cannot shift from their position during evolution: in K. aprix the cerebral foramen is positioned just posteriorly to the basipterygoid process whereas in H. romani it is placed close to the anterior termination of the process.

The specific sites of termination of the anterior thalamic projections within the primate hippocampal formation remain unknown, though in the rat these projections terminate across all subdivisions of the subicular complex (Shibata, 1993a).
This pattern is opposite to what occurs in the GRS, where thalamocortical terminations from the anterior nucleus colocalize with L2 dendritic bundles (Wyss et al. 1990; Ichinohe et al. 2008).
We first studied the global system of cortico-thalamic pathways at their origin in prefrontal cortex and their termination in the ventral anterior nucleus, as shown in Figure 1A.
Will termination fees get terminated?
For both autistic and control groups, dorsal terminations in the left inferior frontal gyrus were posteriorly located, corresponding to Brodmann area (BA) 44 (Fig. 5A) and ventral terminations were located relatively anterior in the inferior frontal gyrus, within BA45 (Fig. 5B), although overlap between the dorsal and ventral terminations was also observed (Fig. 5C).
In the Isl2-EphA3ki/+ mutant, there was a double map in SC which collapses into a single map (Brown et al., 2000; Reber et al., 2004) in anterior SC: nasal retinal injections yielded two termination zones, while a temporal injection resulted in only one termination zone [ Fig. 5(E), red dots].
These sites localized in two distinct spatial clusters: one anterior and one posterior to the lateral termination of the transverse temporal (Heschl's) sulcus (TTS).
The termination of several descending peptidergic neurites just anterior to this terminal neuropil demonstrates that the existing peptidergic projections in the terminal plexus are neuromere-specific.
