Tell them that together they will be brainstorming a list to answer the prompt: "Name all the species you can think of that you might find in a patch of earth with which you're both familiar".
Obviously if this is the first time you're getting started, you'll want to answer the prompt in the affirmative.
The difference may be that advanced students do not look at their solutions for as long because they do not need it to answer the prompt.
The "correct" essay fully answered the prompt, but had frequent grammatical and mechanical errors, while the "wrong" essay did not fully answer the prompt, but was well polished and edited.

Conceptual and conceptual reinforcement prompts are problem-independent, and so there is no need to look at the canvas or problem statement to answer the prompts.
This is a basic concept, and it therefore makes sense that if the student cannot answer the prompts correctly, s/he is expected to make the error again.
