The phrase "angle of the hand" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used in contexts related to geometry, anatomy, or any situation where the position or orientation of a hand is being described.
Example: "The angle of the hand during the gesture was crucial for conveying the intended meaning."
Alternatives: "position of the hand" or "orientation of the hand".
