The phrase "and thus the pattern" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used to indicate a conclusion or result that follows logically from previous statements or observations.
Example: "The data showed a consistent increase in sales over the past year, and thus the pattern suggests a growing market demand."
Alternatives: "and therefore the trend" or "and so the sequence".
