The phrase "and the reckoning" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used in contexts discussing consequences, judgments, or evaluations, often in a metaphorical or philosophical sense.
Example: "After years of neglecting his responsibilities, he knew that the time would come for him to face the truth and the reckoning."
Alternatives: "and the judgment" or "and the consequences".
