The phrase "and so the data" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used to introduce a conclusion or result that follows from previously mentioned information regarding data.
Example: "The experiment yielded consistent results, and so the data supports our initial hypothesis."
Alternatives: "therefore, the data" or "thus, the data".
And so, the data is aggregated.
Again, there were no differences in the performance of mice from Cohort 1 and Cohort 2 and so the data were pooled for evaluation of the main effects of genotype and time of day.
