The phrase "and so suggest" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when indicating that something implies or leads to a particular suggestion or conclusion.
Example: "The data shows a significant increase in sales, and so suggest that our marketing strategy is effective."
Alternatives: "therefore imply" or "thus indicate".
My theory is that they're more visceral and so suggest a stronger sense of present tense.
