The phrase "and comparison to that of the" is not entirely correct and may be awkward in written English.
It can be used when discussing similarities or differences between two subjects, but it would be clearer if rephrased.
Example: "The study highlights the differences in results and comparison to that of the previous research."
Alternatives: "in relation to" or "compared to".
