The phrase "and added data from" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when describing the action of incorporating or including additional information from a specific source.
Example: "The researcher conducted a thorough analysis and added data from previous studies to support her findings."
Alternatives: "and incorporated information from" or "and included data from".
It took some of those comments into account and added data from new studies to come out with the final risk assessment issued Tuesday.
