Odyssey says it confirmed the wreck's identity from evidence including the number of holds, the anchor type, the scupper locations and red-and-black hull colors that matched the scheme used by the British Indian Steam Navigation Company.
Conclusions: (1) Suture abrasion differs according to the suture type, anchor type, and testing conditions.
The testing model focused on 3 variables: suture anchor type, suture pull angle (SA) and angle of anchor rotation (RA).
Each anchor type and size was subjected to four different types of tests covering static, dynamic, tension and shear loading.
Six types of impeller were tested: turbine-blade type, turbo-lift type, rotating mesh type (EGSTAR®), screw with draft tube type, Maxblend®type, and anchor type.
The effects of anchor type and length on the anchorage performance of CFRP tendons were studied with the focus on the anchoring mechanism.
Relatively high cell concentrations were attained with four of the impeller types, turbine-blade type, rotating mesh type, Maxblend® type, and anchor type.
For Tevdek and PDS sutures, the anchor type does not affect the strength of the construct, as the suture is the limiting factor.
For undamaged or damaged sutures through either anchor type, PDS suture had the highest coefficient of friction, significantly higher than FiberWire and Tevdek.
The independent variables used for development of the prediction model were anchor diameter, type of anchor, edge distance, embedment depth, clear clearance of the anchor, type of chemical adhesive, method of injection of the chemical, and compressive strength of the concrete.
Finally, plastic suture of the posterior-medial and medial capsule, re-insertion of the POL with detached points and suture of the MCL with small anchor type "T-corkscrew" were performed (Fig. 4).
