Objectives: The purpose of this study was to analyze left ventricular diastolic function in patients undergoing aortic aneurysm repair and to investigate the effects of laparotomy and aortic cross-clamping on diastolic function.
Based on these criteria, 11 anterior and posterior bellies of digastric muscles from 10 donors, in one subject, where we had the possibility to analyze left and right muscles, and 6 mylohyoideus muscles, from six different donors, were included for the analysis.
As we were only able to analyze left wrist movement patterns, future investigations may examine other joints (elbow, shoulder, right wrist, etc).
