In a meta-analysis using the unconditional OR-estimate from the data of the second phase of our study jointly with results from CGEMS, the two SNPs showed very similar results as those obtained with the EPIC data alone (ORallele = 0.91, 95% CI 0.83 0.99, p = 0.029 for rs546950 and ORallele = 0.87, 95% CI 0.79 0.95, p = 0.002 for rs4955720).
