In the updated analyses in November 2011, none of the 68 patients in arm A achieved CR, whereas of the 71 patients in arm B, 1 attained CR (%CR, 1.4%).
In the updated analyses, median OS and 3-year OS were 13.1 months and 25.9%, respectively, for arm A and 14.4 months and 25.7%, respectively, for arm B. Daily RT plus LDPF chemotherapy did not qualify for further evaluation as a new treatment option for patients with locally advanced unresectable esophageal cancer.
In the updated efficacy analyses, the improvement in median TTP was confirmed (6.2 vs 4.3 months; HR=0.57; P=0.00013), although no statistical differences in overall survival were demonstrated (Cameron et al, 2008; Cameron et al, 2010).

We appreciate the need to more fully analyze our FRAP data and now include these additional analyses in updated versions of Figure 1 figure supplement 1 (for LIMK1-GFP) and in both Figure 4, and a new Figure 4 figure supplement 2 (for GFP-actin; again, please note the adjusted numbering following removal of our original Figure 4).
