French officials have not yet decided whether to seek extradition, an official based at the French consulate in New York said yesterday.
That means Britain would prefer to have the Bank of England's governor, Mervyn A. King, whose highly skeptical view toward British banks is well known, as its main regulator than an official based in Brussels.
That carries major health and economic concerns, said David Ganz, an official based in Bangkok with Lowering Emissions in Asia's Forests, a program funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development.
