The show, continuing into late March, is divided into sections on the urban scene, the rural landscape, Sargent and his influence, Gilded Age representations of women, and the influence of Impressionism on the Eight, a group of progressive early 20th-century artists.
And it is the park itself that will be the site for Le Plein Air (3 June - 26 September), a series of outdoor sculpture installations by five young artists, interpreting the influence of Impressionism and rural life in Normandy.
