The phrase "an increased band" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used in contexts where you are describing a band that has become larger or more extensive, such as in scientific, technical, or musical discussions.
Example: "The study showed an increased band of frequencies that were detected during the experiment."
Alternatives: "a wider band" or "an expanded band".
