The phrase "an anomalous pattern" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when describing a pattern that deviates from what is standard, normal, or expected.
Example: "The researchers observed an anomalous pattern in the data that suggested a potential error in the experiment."
Alternatives: "an unusual trend" or "a deviant pattern".
