This work presents SACRE (Smart Adaptation through Contextual REquirements), our approach leveraging an adaptation feedback loop to detect self-adaptive systems' contextual requirements affected by uncertainty and to integrate machine learning techniques to determine the best operationalization of context based on sensed data at runtime.

Important questions related to system vulnerability and resilience, adaptation, feedback processing, cycling, non-linearities and other complex behaviors are being addressed using models employing new representational approaches to analysis.
This segmentation then allows a potential link to different brain regions, so that, for instance, the optimization and selection of movement may occur within one brain region (perhaps the basal ganglia) while adaptation, feedback and internal models might occur elsewhere (perhaps in the cerebellum).
Adaptation, feedback mechanisms, and structural remodeling, among others, may alter initial assumptions and can therefore not be accounted for by classic methods of investigation.
In this article we provide a solution how to integrate the user in the self-adaptation feedback loop.
Those studies addressed, using experimentation and modelling, the role of basal signalling, robustness against perturbation, as well as adaptation and feedback control.
Higher values indicate overall larger behavioral adaptation after feedback.
Moreover, cellular senescence, apparently an anticancer adaptation, proceeds through a feedback loop of ROS generation [ 87].
Our neurophysiology studies in rat models suggested that Nucleus Accumbens (NAcc) contained a rich representation of goal information in terms of predicting the probability of earning reward and it could be translated into an evaluative feedback for adaptation of the decoder with high precision.
Akt is involved in several forms of adaptations and feedback loops responsible for modulating RTK signaling [9], [10].
Peripheral participatory needs, formative and summative evaluations are conducted in a holistic manner (quantitative and qualitative, participatory action research) and a continuous feedback drives adaptations flexibly at the peripheral and central-framework level.
