The phrase "an absolute preference for" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when expressing a strong or definitive choice or liking for something over others.
Example: "In our study, we found that participants exhibited an absolute preference for organic products over conventional ones."
Alternatives: "a strong preference for" or "a clear preference for".
