In the middle of the channel system, sediments become finer with decreased flow rate, resulting in weakened downcutting and strengthened aggradation, so the weakly restricted channel system (e.g., O73 channel system as shown in Fig. 9) is mainly developed at this point, in which channels with some degree of bending are developed and filled with an amount of fragmental flow and slump substances.
