This paper proposes a heuristic method able to optimize current French architecture features (amount of feeders, choice of consumers connected to them) in order to increase distributed generation penetration.
The feed was provided to each tank using an automatic feeder and the amount of feed for each tank was calculated based on feeding rate and biomass in each tank after two weeks.
Electronic feeder systems automatically recorded the visits to the feeders, the timing of meals, and the amount of feed consumed per meal.
Since all feeders contained equal rewards and subjects were tested alone, subjects could not possibly choose feeders based on the presence of quinine, differences in the amount of food in feeders, or the presence or actions of other bats.
