The phrase "amalgamated group" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used to refer to a collection of entities or organizations that have come together to form a single entity or partnership.
Example: "The amalgamated group of companies has decided to expand its operations into new markets."
Alternatives: "merged entity" or "consolidated organization".
