The phrase "alternatives set out" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when referring to options or choices that have been presented or outlined in a document or discussion.
Example: "The report includes several alternatives set out for consideration by the committee."
Alternatives: "options presented" or "choices outlined".
But as I saw no other short-term alternative, I set out to find a person who could "get" (inject) me. .
