The phrase "alternative specificity" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used in contexts where you are discussing different types or levels of specificity in alternatives, such as in scientific, technical, or analytical discussions.
Example: "The study revealed alternative specificity in the enzyme's reaction to various substrates."
Alternatives: "different specificity" or "varied specificity".
