"alternation from" is a correct and usable phrase in written English.
It can be used when describing a change or shift from one thing to another. For example, "The weather showed a clear alternation from sunny to stormy throughout the day." This means that the weather changed back and forth between sunny and stormy conditions. Another example could be, "The company's CEO announced an alternation from their current business strategy to a new one." This means that the company will be transitioning from their current strategy to a new one.
