The phrase "altered in either" is not complete on its own, but it can be correct and usable in written English when placed in the right context.
You can use it when discussing changes or modifications that may or may not have occurred in two or more options or scenarios.
Example: "The results of the experiment were not altered in either case, leading to consistent findings."
Alternatives: "changed in either" or "modified in either".
However, left ventricular ejection duration and the systolic pressure area were not altered in either group suggesting no alterations in stroke volume.
