The phrase "also reported a great" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when discussing findings or observations that indicate a significant or positive outcome in a report or study.
Example: "The survey also reported a great increase in customer satisfaction over the past year."
Alternatives: "also noted a significant" or "also indicated a considerable".
Participants also reported a greater increase in anxiety during a catastrophizing task and rated the likelihood of potential catastrophes as higher when sleep deprived, relative to when rested.
