The phrase "also noted a decrease" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when you want to mention that a decrease was observed in addition to other findings or observations.
Example: "In the report, we also noted a decrease in customer satisfaction ratings over the past quarter."
Alternatives: "also observed a decline" or "additionally recorded a drop".
Curiously, these authors also noted a decrease in HT-A transcripts levels in styles 48 h after compatible pollinations.
