The phrase "also flanked by a" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used to describe something that is surrounded or bordered by another element, often in a physical or metaphorical context.
Example: "The garden was also flanked by a beautiful stone pathway that led to the entrance."
Alternatives: "also bordered by a" or "also accompanied by a".
