"also did that" can be considered a valid part of a sentence in written English
It is commonly used when describing a series of actions or events that have taken place. Here is an example: "I completed my homework, studied for my exam, and also did that project for my art class." In this sentence, "also did that" is used to indicate that in addition to completing homework and studying, the speaker also completed a project for their art class.
