The phrase "alpine location" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used to describe a place situated in or characteristic of the Alps or similar mountainous regions, often implying a scenic or elevated setting.
Example: "The resort is nestled in an alpine location, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains."
Alternatives: "mountainous setting" or "high-altitude site".
Slovenia's eastern Alpine location and easily accessible transit routes have been crucial since antiquity.
