The work — finally receiving its New York premiere, courtesy of the Program in Narrative Medicine at Columbia University — features a visual component (by the animation artist Sarah Wickliffe) and a narrative aspect (written by Herschel Garfein and performed by the actor Michael Winther) along with its musical canvas.
