TechCrunch Disrupt finalist CloudFlare is teaming up with realtime website translation service Smartling to allow users to translate their websites into any language.
And with their powers combined, they're building a real-time voice translation service that will allow users to translate phrases from their mobile phones on the fly.
Then, in June, Google Translate opened up "Indic web," allowing users to translate content among Indian languages — Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu, in addition to Hindi.
Facebook allowed users to translate its profile pages into Pirate before its IPO, though it's still unclear what effect that had on the stock.
The startup is also developing email translation software that will allow users to read and respond to translated emails through Dakwak's platform.
