In the upscaled model, the weighted geometric mean hydraulic conductivity of individual allotments is found to provide the best match to an individual allotment model when comparing total outflow volume and peak flow rate.
This suggests that the higher physical activity levels of allotment gardeners found in the current study may be specific to allotment gardens as a special type of individually owned and maintained green space.
