The dose-adjusted CHOP regimen consists of cyclophosphamide (1 2 g/m per day), vincristine (1.4 mg/m per day, maximum 2 mg), and doxorubicin (50 mg/m per day) or epirubicin (75 mg/m per day) all on day 1 and prednisone (100 mg/day) on days 1 5.

Gender, weight, and age were included because of their clinical relevancy.
If you try it all on day one, and end up feeling sick and losing your appetite, it's your own silly fault.
Interestingly, there were fewer DEG at 110 vs. 100 days, which corresponds to the lack of change in tissue DNA content between both times, and potentially with the fact that the GO term 'chromatin-mediated maintenance of transcription' was markedly inhibited between 100 to 110 vs. 80 days and was not impacted at all on day 110 vs. 100.
