The phrase "alignment with the previous" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when discussing consistency or agreement with something that was mentioned earlier in the text.
Example: "The new policy is in alignment with the previous guidelines established by the committee."
Alternatives: "consistent with the earlier" or "in accordance with the prior".
