The phrase "alignment of mitochondrial" is not complete as it lacks a noun to follow "mitochondrial," but it is usable in written English if completed properly.
You can use it in contexts discussing the arrangement or coordination of mitochondrial structures or functions within a biological or scientific framework.
Example: "The alignment of mitochondrial DNA sequences is crucial for understanding evolutionary relationships among species."
Alternatives: "arrangement of mitochondria" or "coordination of mitochondrial functions."
