The distribution profile of the identities for these 6,295 alignments was presented in Additional file 2: Figure S1, which showed an approximately uniform distribution within the interval of 0.90-0.98 whilexhibitingng a sharp increase in alignment frequency within the interval of 0.98-0.99.
