The phrase "aliens might be" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when speculating about the existence or characteristics of aliens in a hypothetical context.
Example: "In the vast universe, aliens might be more advanced than we are, or they might be completely different from anything we can imagine."
Alternatives: "extraterrestrials could be" or "beings from other planets may be".
The lack of a signal from ET has not, however, prevented astronomers and biologists (not to mention film-makers) coming up with a whole range of ideas about what aliens might be like.
