It is noteworthy, however, that the prevalence of alcohol in road fatalities is not the same in all countries.
Alcohol and road safety organisations have expressed worries, while an RAC survey found only 12% of those questioned supported pubs at motorway service stations.
Mr. Putin proposes to address the problem with a wide range of subsidies and financial incentives, along with improved health care, a crackdown on illicit alcohol, improved road safety and the like.

Although no figures are available showing the proportion of patients involved in alcohol-related road accidents after discharge from ERs, especially short-stay cases and cases with higher degrees of alcohol consumption may represent a group with higher risk to themselves and in road traffic.
