It is therefore important to consider not only weight but other markers of nutrition (including evidence for protein-energy wasting and serum albumin) and body composition in the assessment and treatment of kidney transplant recipients.
The results indicated that CS-n showed the same albumin and globulin compositions as CS, while gliadins displayed minor differences between CS-n and CS; only one gliadin band obtained by acidic polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (A-PAGE) was absent in CS-n (Additional file 4: Figure S3).

Interestingly, major differences in the composition of albumin were observed among the different lots of bTSH (bTSH product 1, Sigma Aldrich), while the pituitary hormones (prolactin, LH, AVP, glycoprotein hormone alpha chain, and TSH) were not significantly different between the lots.
Precise compositions of albumin solution should be clearly identified in future study reports.
