A backdrop of Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle' extends the theme of lime and white into autumn while Cornus alba 'Elegantissima' contributes glowing red stems in winter, followed by creamy foliage that echoes the silky white trunks of the birches.

The most profound observation to be noted in Figure 1D was that M. atropurpurea and M. bombycis samples form a larger group with high positive within-group correlation (in dark red) while M. alba samples form a separate cluster.
