"alacrity about" is not a correct phrase.
"Alacrity" means cheerful readiness or willingness, and it is typically followed by a preposition such as "for" or "in." For example, "She showed alacrity for volunteering at the charity event" or "He approached his work with alacrity." In written English, "alacrity about" is not commonly used and may sound awkward or incorrect. It is possible to use it in very specific situations, such as in creative writing where the writer is intentionally playing with language and breaking grammatical rules. However, in most cases, it would be more appropriate to use one of the conventional phrases mentioned above. Incorrect: The team showed alacrity about completing the project. Correct: The team showed alacrity in completing the project.
