Method of aggregation of past observations is significant aspect in time series analysis where determination of next observation depends only on past observations.
The fact that we found a spatial aggregation of species observations when including the stands that might have acted as dispersal sources during the entire time period from the young stands were clear-cut, stresses the importance of the historical stand structure, also shown by Snäll et al. [61].
The aggregation of all observations to the cohort level results in: (2) y ¯ ct = x ′ ¯ ct β + α ¯ c + u ¯ ct where y ¯ ct are the averages of all observed ln(LOS)'s in cohort c at time period t, and similarly for the other variables in the model.
