Table 2 shows that all climatic factors (except precipitation), school summer vacation and public holidays, proportion of the school-age population, population density, and the density of medical facilities were significantly associated with the extent of local transmission in univariate multilevel Poisson regression.

No specific adjustments were made for the ageing of the population, population growth and financial incentives for drug prescribing since these changes were already covered by the original trends.
As China has made great social and economic advances in past decades and has entered the aging society, the aging population (> 60 years old) accounting for 14.3% of the total population, population aging is also becoming an increasingly severe problem.
