The phrase "age of eruption" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used in contexts related to geology, dentistry, or any field discussing the timing of significant events or changes.
Example: "The age of eruption for molars typically occurs between the ages of 12 and 13."
Alternatives: "eruption age" or "timing of eruption".
Although age of eruption and deposition of volcanic ash is not clear, the tephra-bearing ice layer with volcanic ash should have been transported as the ice sheet moves and uplifted as the bare ice area is eroded by strong wind through significant time after deposition and consolidation.
Psoter et al. [ 20] discussed the limitations of these two longitudinal studies, and concluded that no firm association between early childhood PEM and the age of eruption of PT exists.
The oral health knowledge questions included questions about the number of deciduous and permanent teeth; the age of eruption of first molar tooth, the most important signs; causes and prevention of dental caries and gingivitis; and the health hazards of betel nuts and tobacco.

Because uncertainties in eruption ages and volumes increase with age of the eruptive products, it is difficult to compare the eruption rates of poorly preserved, older eruptions to recent eruptions occurring over a similar time interval.
